Last night I dreamt that some girl was washing my hair. I’ve been concerned about hair loss for years but it’s gotten worse since I’ve lost some weight and my thyroid medication is too strong. I’m seeing the doctor this week and hopefully he’ll make an adjustment. I also dreamt that I lived with my friend and fellow writer Aly Ashcroft. We slept in bunk beds and I was urging her to wake up and get a move on and get serious about writing because we’re in our thirties now and it’s time to get published!!!
Tonight my boyfriend took me out in his new mini cooper; it is a stylin’ car, a sweet ride. We went over to Cowabunga on Vine Street near James and had some beer and pizza. I had a sour beer – I really like sour beer as of late. After that we walked down to Mulberry Coffee House and had coffee and a chocolate loaf. We ate that and had room for more so M. got a walnut brownie and we shared that too. The brownie was excellent, really soft and not old at all. Then we took a drive around Hamilton and the outlying areas. We checked out the Scottish Rite building but it was fenced off so we remained in the car and then we drove around Herkimer, Aberdeen and Ravencliff where all the mansions are. I was trying to get some inspiration for my next book, which will take place in a mansion of some sort, possibly. I’m just literally dreaming about it now, not writing. I plan on having a long career in writing, so there’s room for many books and many drives. When the sun went down M. put the top down and we drove around with the wind in our hair and up our clothing. Fortunately, I was wearing leggings.
