Brooke Hamilton

Yesterday I went to Beyond the Batter on the east mountain and bought four cake cups: salted caramel, raspberry cheesecake, brownie, and birthday cake. I figured I’d share them with M. and Mom and Dad. Then M. came over and we sat outside eating cake (they were delicious) and drinking coffee. My parents had gone to see their friend and our realtor play live music at The Duke on Park in Brantford, but by the time they came back we had a fire going and had cracked open a couple of beers. We spent the evening talking about my next book, which will include magic, and about other random topics as per usual. I had a great time.
