Well I haven’t written in this blog in two years. I pretty much started my internship and abandoned the blog.

I gained back 40lbs and have been working for the past year to lose more weight. I sit at 278lbs now. A month ago I was 285lbs so progress has been made even if it feels slow.

The internship was really rewarding and I got to work with all kinds of people, hear all kinds of stories. After it ended, I stayed on one day a week to volunteer. Sometimes it ended up being more, as was necessary. I’m still volunteering one day a week.

I also got a part-time job at a bulk food store in Burlington. I’m there three days a week for a total of 9 hours a week. I love it so far. I get a nice discount, which I used to pick up some shampoo, conditioner, dried kiwi slices, and sugar free chocolates (for my dad).

I’m plugging away at university. My last assignment was for an English course about sports writing and I got a 95. I figure I’ll be done in 1-2 years.

My relationship with M. Is going well. This past weekend we took Zazu (my dog) out hiking and he loved it. He now perks up at the mention of “hiking”. We had fun too. Don’t know where things are heading but for the time being we’re just enjoying each other’s company. Neither one of us can afford to leave our current places to move in together right now but someday.

I still love Conan. Listening to Kid Cudi as I walked today made me think of when he was on Conan’s show and I thought Conan was talking to me in code. But even before then I loved him, right from the start. And now that I know I’m not on his radar and have a wonderful partner of my own, I still love him and wish him well. Maybe we’ll go our whole lives without meeting. Maybe I need to be content with being a fan. What more could I want at this point? Friendship? Sure. A letter? That’d be awesome. Some sort of orgy with Liza, myself, Conan, and M.? Well that gives the mind something to think about.

I’m happy. M. is great. He’s his own unique person, there’s not quite anyone like him. And we love each other. A life with love. Nothing to sneeze at.
